Date rape drugs are drugs that are often used without the person’s knowledge in order to gain control over them to commit a sexual assault. Rohypnol, also known as Ruffies, is the most well-known drug used for this type of crime. Women are advised never to take a drink from someone they do not know, monitor their own drink at all times, and to go to a hospital for testing if they suspect they have been drugged.
